In my opinion the best joomla tempalte designer is gavick. Their templates are always pro and amazing. The support is ok, maybe is too slow.

Rockettheme sucks. Couldnt unistall on of their module. Had nuke it in the database in 4 different places. Its like a minny microsoft.

Great Templates! It was such great inspiration, that I completely scrapped my original plan and started over again! I do believe the result will be a much better product.

Bad, bad experience here with JoomlaJet. I have been using Joomla for over 3 years now therefore I know what I’m looking for in a template. Unfortunately I got sucked in by a couple of their templates looking ‘nice’, only to find that they either didnt work or were a big job to get setup and altered to work and look they way I wanted.

I had to email three times requesting a refund, with their first reply three months later saying that they dont do refunds.

Waste of time and money – there are much better FREE templates out there.

I don’t know about Shape5. Yes they make some good looking templates but when it comes to support good luck getting anything decent.

Also the templates have tons of module positions but the installers come with so little. You have to create all the modules yourself if you want to get anything decent.

You should pullout Gavick from your list. I just curious on their aftersales service, and I found this thread on their forum: h++p://www.gavick.com/forum.html?func=view&catid=1&id=10375&limit=30

Now I have to find another good vendor to spend my $100. Gavick produce a lot of nice and fresh template. But if it’s not working with IE (I hate IE as you are, but 80% of my customer using it) than forget it. FYI + IMHO.

Gavick’s templates may be great, but their support is lacking and they are vindictive. I bought a 4 month membership in July 2008, I only got a 3 weeks of access, they cut off my account when I complained that I wasn’t getting any help and they won’t issue a refund! NONE of my many requests for help via e-mail or the forum have EVER been answered. NONE! BEWARE They are theives and only answer what they want to answer. Their tabs module conflicts with their drop-down navigation menu. They have YET to answer this and many other issues posed by me and other posters.

Honestly guys Yootheme seems to win the battle out there, acording to the design interface. First time i saw there demo site i thought i was in a wrong place, like flash or something. There are little more expensive but i think its worth it.

I don´t agree with you about RT, they tend to make there templates boxy and too much squared.
had a membership at them, but not for more.
TP seems much more orientated towards there customers, where RT dosent listen (as they dosen´t listen to users of Joomla, yes, they are some of the developers of Joomla)

But, your review is very good, and takes us a lot around the different clubs.

Thumbs up for that work.
