I sometimes work at home… As well, when I write my posts, it's often very late at night, or very early in the morning… I have 3 car garage, but currently have only 2 cars. Since I'm a geek at heart, I wanted my own little tech office… a place that I can call my own. So, I set out to turn a third of my garage into my hi-tech headquarters. Here's my garage… I have a 3-car garage, with two doors .
and here's my little office space… without my 6 lcd monitors…
The company I used is called Anglian… I heard of these guys through a friend. They did a really great job, so I feel I should give them a mention. Anglian was professional, on-time, fast, and affordable… Okay, this is sounding like a commercial, but really… they're awesome. The removed my garage doors, installed a while, added all flooring, lighting, etc… Done! Highly recommended. If you're a freelancer, with 2 kids or more… working out of your home… trust me, turn your garage into an office. Well worth it.

Wow, what a difference. I’m looking to do the same type of conversion. My garage is a small 1 car detached wood frame. Not that the process between yours and mine would be the same, but I am wondering if the cost comes in less than rent of a small office ($650 month) for a year?
Thanks,
a
