3 Helpful Site Checkers

Categories: Lists of Lists, Open Source

I wanted to put together a list of a few tools I frequently use. I didn’t want to put the typical stuff that everyone always blogs about, but I included a great list from ProBlogger anyway. Here are the 3 tools I frequently use.

Website Grader by HubSpot – Marketing Reports for 150,000 URLs and Counting…

I really like this tool. It gives you a rating, or score from 0 – 100.  I like this tool because it shows you the score and the results from any site… It provides very interesting information. For example, gizmodo.com, a very popular blog doesn’t use a 301 redirect, metatags/keywords, or a site description. Yet, the still have a great SEO and an Alexa rank of 870. Frickin’ phenomenal!

Builtwith.com Web Page Technology Profiler – Find out what a site is built with.

This is another great tool… you can find out what technology any site uses.

XinuReturns – Check PageRank, Backlinks, Indexed Pages, Rankings and more
This does exactly what it says… checks all kinds of great information for you. Now, there’s several tools out there that do this, but I found this one to be a good fit for me.

    What a list!

I’ll have to try xinu for sure – I check most of those individually right now. It would cut down on the time it takes and the sites to remember.

I’ll have to go thru the long lists you mention as there is a lot of stuff here.

Thanks for compiling such a list. It looks pretty thorough.

Will you be updating this list when you find more?

    Thanks,

    Pam Hoffman
