I’m looking to improve my rank… but I can’t seem to find anywhere a definition of what specifically contributes to rankings.

Sure.. how many other people link to your site, blah blah. But I’m looking for a plain english definition.

I have no clue what I’m doing.. but in the one month of existence my blog is now at rank 25,000 out of the 1.2 million blogs on technorati. Does that mean I know what I’m doing? Absolutely not.

The only advice I would have is to use your twitter account to post links to your best posts once in a while.

If anybody can break down the definition of what defines rankings, that would be great.

Hi! I have seen many such websites that provide competitive analysis for free. My personal favourite is a href=http://www.estimix.com rel=nofollowwww.estimix.com/a . It seems to generate very accurate traffic information, too.

It seems Technorati is very bad and buggy webste.
