4 Virtual Desktops you may not know yet

Categories: Lists of Lists, Tips and Tools

DesktopTwoDesktopTwo has some cool Ajax features and functionality. The one thing I noticed right away, and hated was bar of ads across the top of the screen. Otherwise, great user interface.
Jooce
Still in beta, as most are, Jooce is pretty darn awesome. Visually speaking, Jooce is vibrant with tons of colors. This is easy to use and has no ads screaming at you (at least from what I’ve seen.) Has great features and functionality.
MyGoya
Haven’t been able to use MyGoya too much. Let’s be honest though… they’re all pretty much the same, right? MyGoya looks very promising, as allows tabbed desktops, it integrates Zoho apps, Flickr, and other Social Media platforms.
WidgetPlus
WidgetPlus actually looks like a windows desktop, which believe it or not, builds credibility. That’s what people are accustomed to… Graphics are great, looks intuitive, integrates Social Media platforms, etc… WidgetPlus also allows you to download the framework, supported on Windows, Linux, and Mac browsers.

Very interesting Jason – I’ve been looking for an alternative to the ’standard’ Windows desktop for some time. I’m still on XP, so I hope some of these may work with XP.

If I could find something that was useful, and stable, I would even be prepared to pay for it.

I’d like to see more of a review on these desktops from you too, if you have the time or the inclination.

    All the best,

    Alex
