There’s been so many times where I needed to get a list of files that reside within a certain directory. There’s software out there to do it (like DDFilecatcher), but who wants to pay for it? It seems like it would be so simple just to create a little script that’ll take the names of all the files I have in a folder and save it to a .txt file. Well, here’s how you do it.
- Open notepad
- Put this code into the file
dir /b>filelist.txt
- Save it as “filelist.bat”
- Place filelist.bat into the directory you need to get the list from
- Click on filelist.bat from within the folder
- You’ll now have a .txt doc called “filelist.txt”
Simple, right? This has saved me so much time… it’s ridiculous.

Tom and Ashton - The Duo
There’s nothing worse than a celebrity who thinks they have some power the rest of us don’t have. Or, just because they are a “celebrity,” they somehow become much smarter and more educated than everybody else… Like Tom Cruise. This idiot thinks that he’s the smartest man on earth… only because he’s a celebrity. The fact is, these fools ‘pretend’ for a living… yeah… they pretend. How does that make somebody more intelligent?
Recently Ashton Kutcher decided to threaten his twitter followers… He apparently threatened to stop posting. And if AK stops tweeting, then twitter might as well shut the doors… You know what Ashton, go twuck yourself. Nobody likes you, your acting sucks, and nobody gives a damn that you represent a lousy camera that tells us whether or not somebody blinked. Just like your movies, that camera is worthless and serves no purpose.
